Το τραγούδι Grandola Vila Morena, που ήταν απαγορευμένο, μεταδόθηκε από το ραδιόφωνο το πρωινό της 25ης Απριλίου του 1974 δίνοντας έτσι το “σήμα” για να ξεκινήσει η “επανάσταση των γαρυφάλλων” ενάντια στο φασιστικό καθεστώς “Σαλαζαρίστ”.
